KEENAN, part of the Alltech Group, is a world leader in the area of feed efficiency technology and the manufacture of the KEENAN range of diet feeding equipment. We are a global expanding company and are looking to recruit Production Operatives to join our

manufacturing team in Borris, Co. Carlow.

As a General Operative you will be responsible for ensuring that production is carried out efficiently in adherence to quality standards and the manufacturing schedule. Some flexibility may be required from time to time based on production requirements.

Responsibilities;

• Work in any area of the manufacturing plant as designated

• Meet defined production targets

• Follow instruction from the area supervisor / team leader

• Adhere to lean and 6S standards

• Follow safety rules, including wearing protective equipment and reporting accidents, incidents or near misses that occur in the workplace

• Complete all training as identified by the company

• Adhere to instructions incorporating quality safety and good manufacturing practice

Requirements;

• Experience working as part of a team

• Experience working in a physically demanding environment

• Punctuality is a key requirement

• Effective teamwork and communication skills is essential

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a distinct advantage

• Experience in meeting and exceeding production targets
