Borris Lace Perpetual Trophy

Borris Lacemakers are delighted to announce the first recipient of the Tullow Show Borris Lace Perpetual Trophy is Catherine Kavanagh whose beautifully lace edged shawl surpassed all other entries. 

The adjudicator and donor of the Trophy was Ena Atkinson. This was the first time a special Borris Lace category was included in the Tullow Show Craft Section.  Second and third places went to Brigid Kinsella with ‘Highly Commended’ placed on pieces submitted by Helena McAteer, Ingelise Stuijts and Brigid Barcoe.
