The Borris Lace by Post project is up and running and the materials for month 2 have gone out to all participants. The beautiful packs contain everything they need to explore traditional Borris Lace designs. Participants pick out their favourite design or part of a design and this will form the basis of their creation in month 3.
Borris Lacemakers are delighted to work with local artists Jules Michael and Ally Nolan on this exciting project which is supported by Creative Ireland Carlow as part of the Creativity in Older Age fund 2021 in partnership with Carlow County Council Arts Office and the Craft Hub project.
