Borris Lacemakers - AGM

Borris Lacemakers would like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year.  The year 2025 was a hectic one with various displays and exhibitions, a visit to the European Parliament in Strasbourg and an appearance on National television among the highlights.  The year finished with the School’s transition year programme when the students from Borris College learned the basic Borris Lace stitches in the beautiful surroundings of Borris House, the original home of the lace. And so it is onwards and upwards for the group in 2026, ten years after its foundation, starting with the A.G.M. on January 28^th in the meeting room beside the Library in Borris at 10a.m. The meeting will be open to the public and anyone with an interest in the lace or wishing to join the group will be most welcome.
