There was an article in the latest edition of Irish Country magazine on the history of Borris lace since its introduction by Lady Harriet McMorrough Kavanagh during the Great Famine of the mid-1840s, and how it has been revived in recent times by the Borris Lacemakers community group.
Another article entitled "Focus on the Forest" featured Borris based woodturner Glenn Lucas detailing his wares and the classes he runs.
