About The Event
An enchanted evening showcasing Ireland's electronic music culture in a truly unique space, The Granary at Borris House, Co Carlow. 'The Granary' plays host to live musical performances from some of Ireland's prestigious electronic musical talents with live visuals from Kev Freeney and sustainable event solutions provided by the team at Native Events.
Borris House is the ancestral home of the Kavanagh family and is set out in the idyllic Borris village at the foothills of Mount Leinster and Blackstairs mountains in County Carlow.
Playing live and headlining the event is Cork raised, Manchester based producer Kerrie. Armed with an arsenal of hardware, from which she has created a slew of recent releases on labels like Blueprint, Cultivated Electronics, Don’t Be Afraid, I Love Acid and her own Dark Machine Funk, Kerrie’s appearance is one we’re keenly awaiting.
Also appearing are two legends of the Irish scene, Fran Hartnett and Jon Hussey, who join forces for a special live hybrid set, pushing the possibilities of analogue and digital technology into their own melting pot of techno sounds. Opening up is a familiar and popular DJ face on the Dublin scene, Carlow native Louche, providing an expert selection of deep cuts to kick off the event.
'A Native Perspective' is an immersive evening of culture which champions local artists, local produce and local artisans.
Doors open at 6pm with a BBQ with a 'Native' range of homemade sauces and Kombucha brewed by the team in The Fermentary.
This is a non-licensed event so alcohol will not be on sale but we will host some Irish craft beer and cocktails tasting to accompany the food being offered.
